I have been n the frontline trenches today following articles on self proclaimed social media and SEO experts/gurus and I’ll tell ya’… it ain’t pretty!
That’s the problem with blogging, I didn’t learn anything today other than online marketers saying their piece including myself also BTW. I am still in the learning mode here and do not claim to be an expert but I do like to protect my family, followers from prowlers lurking to find an opportunity to lure you “in”, where It took me 3 years to figure out that mentorship is few and far between and watch your surroundings in the murky waters of the online swamplands!
In my next post I am going to give you a brief summary of my past experience and share with you my successes and failures so that you know that I had to work hard to get where I am, and also understand that if I can do it, that maybe you can’t! But you can try!
Yes I know, I’m supposed to say “if I can do it so can you”. But isn’t that sort of presumptuous? After all I’m not you and you’re not me.
But on the positive side, of course you can probably do better and you know what? I really truly do hope you do better than me, it would say a lot for my shared knowledge towards others.
If it is okay with you, I would ask that you do good with what you take away from here and pay it forward because there is a lot to do and learn and I can only tell you that you will feel overwhelmed, frustrated and at times will want to give up!
Be careful not to get caught up with convincing others that you are an expert but tell people as you become efficient in your practice that you “do know” what you are doing and that you do it very, very well!
This is my promise to you!
If you take the time to visit regularly and take with you a small piece of what you have read and implement the idea or lesson, YOU WILL BECOME MORE THAN AN EXPERT! (I do not consider this shouting but an EMPHASIS).
What do I mean? More than an Expert!
There are too many experts. Heck it seems these days everybody that has been reading the same material about writing blogs, articles, posts, comments, etc. Are all EXPERTS!
Come On!
In the carpet cleaning industry, they call it, low balling to sell the premium products and so the deal is 20 rooms for $20 dollars and these guys are experts at selling an upgrade of hundreds of dollars more and I liken the internet as a window to pandoras box where out of the woodwork comes the fiendish varmints and critters selling their version of truth bottled with a cork and promising that if you use their lotion and potion formula that you will get results online.
Then what do they tell you? “Rinse and Repeat! hmmm.
I get it, but these cliches have been used to often and what? That’s why 99.5 percentile of ambitious independent entrepreneurs fail to even get started to make a living online. That doesn’t bode well with the mentorship community online and definitely it doesn’t bode well with me.
Where are these experts and gurus failing?
I would say that the basic principles of what they have learned is not able to be duplicated because they didn’t do it right in the first place. It’s like the blind leading the blind in this case.
Where does that leave the rest of us? In the dark that’s where!
You know, I remember I had asked for a refund on one product because when I purchased it (I purchase a ton of products, I have to, to check them out), it seemed like a good idea at the time until I found out that they were using such a blackhat covert technique that I didn’t want to be associated with it.
It also was founded and co-created by a young fella who was worthy of listening to because these young lads eat, drink and sleep dungeons and dragons type cloak and dagger tactics in which I thought there would some real meaty material that I could take away and use. Well it was a very sneaky technique but not good for long life online, and so I withdrew immediately and from what I know they are still selling this product and playing around with these antics online.
Honestly how long do you think they will last online before being banned?
Now I must say this! That there are a few dedicated experts that have been doing this for years the conventional way and others that you may never see in the limelight, but guess what after 3 years of pulling tooth and nail, bottled with frustration and sensing technique in every pitch, it’s even a wonder that I am still in this arena amongst wolves to begin with.
Everywhere you look there are apple pie in the sky promises of wealth and the mad gold rush to riches online. (just shaking my head).
I’m not perfect, I fell for a lot of that crap and I am not ashamed to say that I thought in the beginning like the rest of us that following a step by step tutorial would get you to the ultimate goal of financial freedom!
But know this, I have been there before in other industries and have done very, very well! Internet marketing is a different animal with major technical aspects, but if you embrace the technology with a careful block by building block process, it will be a breeze and initially in the first few weeks, I promise an almost insane painstaking, excruciating, unbearable frustration, but once you get through that it will be a breeze! 
I promise!
The question is do I have the strategy pinned down yet? The answer is emphatically no!!!
BUT I AM ALMOST THERE! Please bear with me, the rubix cube of systems is being unraveled and I have close relationships with a trusted few who are also doing the same!
